Ransom Miller is an essayist, researcher, and communications professional focused on US foreign affairs, the Asia-Pacific, and China. Ransom managed the Institute for Global Affairs at Eurasia Group’s social media presence from 2024-2026, in addition to his roles as a researcher and writer.
Ransom completed his BA in Global Studies (Asia, Peace & Conflict) and Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. He previously worked as an intern at the Asia-Pacific strategic advisory firm BowerGroupAsia and the Department of State, where he worked in the Office of Mainland Southeast Asia. He also served as a Critical Language Scholar, studying Chinese in Tainan, Taiwan.
